Two Bridges FC Celebrates Annual Gala and the Power of Community Support

The Two Bridges FC Annual Gala was a wonderful evening celebrating the supporters, families, and friends who continue to believe in our mission and help make opportunities possible for young people throughout New York City.

We were grateful to welcome back many longtime supporters, while also meeting new members of the New York soccer community who understand the importance of open access and the impact it can have on a young player’s future. Their generosity helps ensure that financial barriers never stand in the way of talented and motivated student-athletes pursuing their dreams.

As a 100% donation-supported program, Two Bridges FC continues to provide pathways for young players to compete at the highest levels, gain exposure to colleges and universities, and pursue professional opportunities both in the United States and abroad.

A highlight of the evening was hearing from Giovanni Savarese, former MLS player and one of the most respected coaches in American soccer. Savarese led the Portland Timbers to MLS Cup appearances in 2018 and 2021 and has been a longtime supporter of our project. Invited by Two Bridges FC co-founder Brian Kuritzky, Giovanni shared words of encouragement and inspiration, reinforcing the importance of creating opportunities for the next generation of players.

Brian spoke about Giovanni’s influence on his own journey, noting that Savarese was both a coach and mentor during his time with the New York Cosmos. Having Giovanni join us and lend his support to our mission was a meaningful reminder of the power of mentorship, leadership, and community.

To everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and continues to champion our work—thank you. Together, we are creating opportunities, building futures, and proving that talent is everywhere when opportunity is accessible to all.
